Chess

Cathryn is delighted to be playing the role of Florence in Bromley Players’ production of ‘Chess’ at the Bob Hope Theatre, Eltham from 25th April – 28th April 2012.
This fantastic musical by Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson (of ABBA) and Sir Tim Rice involves a romantic triangle between two top chess players, an American and a Russian, in a world chess championship, and a woman who manages one and falls in love with the other. It is set in the context of a Cold War struggle between the United States and the Soviet Union, during which both countries wanted to win international chess tournaments for propaganda purposes.
How the Other Half Loves

Cathryn will be playing Mary Featherstone in Alan Ayckbourn’s ‘How the Other Half Loves’ at the Oast Theatre, Tonbridge February 25th – March 3rd 2012.
This is one of Ayckbourn’s earliest plays, involving the exploits of three very disparate couples. With all the action taking place in two separate houses, often simultaneously, this is Ayckbourn at his funniest and most inventive.
